As standard they are made of carbon steel coated with epoxy-polyester paint, and have been designed for the protection of the conduction components.Filtration occurs by physical retention of those particles which are larger than the filter element, which in this type of filter is a perforated stainless steel sheet. The cleaning of the filter element is manual.They have excellent performance due to their large filtering area and low pressure drop.
