Types of filters
All filters consist of a filter housing and a filter element. Depending on the structural conditions and depending on the respective volume flow, the filter housings are connected to the pipeline via threads or flange filters.
Thread filter
Thread filters are integrated directly into the compressed air line. This can be done directly after the compressor or when branching off a separate supply line or immediately before an application. Often several thread filters are combined with each other in order to gradually reach the desired specification via the step filtration. Thread filters are available for a wide range of pressure levels.
Flange filter
For particularly large volume flows and correspondingly large compressed air lines, flange filters are used. They are connected to the compressed air line via a flange and can be mounted on the wall or on the floor. Here too there are different degrees of filtration and pressure levels.
